Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical) from any recognised institution by the Government from a local higher education institution or a recognised equivalent qualification.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role is preferred. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Competencies 

•  Proficiency in electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems.
• Knowledge of hospital-specific systems and regulatory standards is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with hospital staff and contractors.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Language Qualifications

All candidates must have obtained:

•   Credits in Bahasa Malaysia and English language (including oral examination) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level OR equivalent qualification recognised by the Government (for Malaysian citizens).
• IELTS Band 6 / MUET Band 4.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the maintenance of electrical services.
• Ensure compliance with hospital regulations and standards for electrical services.
• Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing additional works and infrastructure projects within the hospital.
• Work with contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to required standards.
• Monitor project progress, provide updates, and address any issues that arise during project implementation.
