Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognised institution by the Government from a local higher education institution or a recognised equivalent qualification.
• Possess at least five (5) years' working experience in the related field.
• Knowledge and skills in architectural will be an advantage.
• Resourceful, knowledge on civil engineering, operations and management skill.
• Good skill in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio and AutoCad.
• Good command in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work under pressure and within tight deadline.
• Possess high level of integrity. 
• Able to work in a team, committed and dedicated to work.
• Able to work independently in fast pace environment.
• Energetic and has good interpersonal skills.
• Applicant should be a Malaysian citizen. 

LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION

All candidates must have obtained Credit (at least C) in Bahasa Malaysia and English (including oral examination) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.

Responsibilities

• Manage the assigned projects, including conducting site visits to identify the detailed scope of works based on the end-user's requirements.
• Prepare details scope of work in a form of Bills of Quantities and cost estimate for the assigned projects.
• Conduct quotation briefing and site visit to contractors, evaluation quotation submission from contractors and preparation of proposal paper for recommendation of awards.
• Obtain Safety Permit to Work from OSHBE for the projects, including liaison with the contractor on the necessary documentation. 
• Manage the assigned projects including conducting regular site inspections to supervise and monitor the project implementation in accordance with the approved work programme, time schedule, design, materials and specifications.
• Manage project meetings and prepare the necessary minutes of meeting for approval.
• Liaise with end-users and contractors to ensure effective coordination and communication.
• Facilitate the submission of material samples from the contractor for the approval of the Superintending Officer (S.O.)
• Conduct valuation for verification and recommendation of payment due to contractors for assigned projects.
• Report project status updates on regular basis.
• Monitor defects rectification work by contractors within the stipulated time period.
