Requirements

• Sijil  Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or a qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government; OR 
• Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM) in a related field recognized by the Government; OR
• Former police or military personnel with a minimum rank of Constable or Private or an equivalent rank, who have been confirmed in the position, possess a good service record, and are able to speak, read, and write in Bahasa Melayu proficiently; OR 
• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or a qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government, and Malaysian Skills Certificate Level 2 in a related field or a qualification recognized as equivalent; OR
• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or a qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government, and Malaysian Skills Certificate Level 3 in a related field or a qualification recognized as equivalent; AND
• Meet the following physical and sensory requirements:

1. A minimum height of 1.57m for men and 1.53m for women without footwear;
2. A minimum weight of 48kg for men and 46kg for women;
3. A Body Mass Index (BMI) between the range of 19 to 26;
4. A minimum chest measurement of 79cm at rest and 84cm when inhaling (men only);
5. Pass a vision test for both the left and right eyes, tested separately, with a standard of V6/9 without the use of glasses;
6. No defects in color vision or hearing; and
7. Certified healthy for service by a registered medical practitioner.

• PASS the Physical and Fitness Screening Test during the selection process conducted by the University. Qualified candidates will be called for an interview.
• Having the ability to speak in English or Arabic is an advantage.
• Honest and trustworthy, with a positive and mature attitude, and the ability to face challenges and solve problems. 
• Candidates who are active in sports are encouraged to apply.

• Certified copies of academic certificates and related documents must be brought to the interview session. (Certification by a Grade A Government Officer or higher).
• Must be at least 18 years old and not more than 45 years old on the closing date of the job advertisement.
• Applicant should be a Malaysian citizen. 

SALARY SCHEDULE:
MINIMUM SALARY	MAXIMUM	ANNUAL SALARY INCREMENT
RM 1,500.00	RM 4,680.00	RM 100.00
ALLOWANCES: Civil Service Allowance              : RM 115.00 Housing Allowance                     : RM 300.00

Starting salary higher than the minimum salary for Grade KP1 may be determined by the appointing authority based on relevant work experience.

LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION

All candidates must have obtained Credit (at least C) in Bahasa Malaysia and English (including oral examination) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.

Responsibilities

Responsible for carrying out security control tasks for the University's assets, including physical security, documents, and the University community, as well as areas declared as Restricted Areas and Prohibited Places under the Restricted Areas and Prohibited Places Act 1959 (Act 298).
