Job Description

This position will be responsible for IT auditing, including risk assessments, IT  compliance, and security controls, to enhance the university’s governance and  operational efficiency. Additionally, the IT Auditor will be in charge of Audit  Management Software, such as Diligent HighBond. 

Requirements

• Possess a recognized Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity,  Computer Science, Information Systems, or any related field. 
• Preferably minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in IT auditing, IT risk  management, or similar role. 
• Familiar with Computer-Assisted Audit Tools (CAATs)/ ACL/ IDEA, and  capable of managing Audit Management Software for internal audit  operations. 
• Proficiency in scripting or programming is an added advantage.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing  in English and Bahasa Malaysia. 
• Skill in using MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc. 
• Personal attributes should include strong organizational and analytical  skills, sound professional judgment, and problem solving capabilities.
• Able to work independently, adapt to change quickly and multi-task.
• Willing to travel to IIUM campuses. 
• Possess high level of integrity and positive attitude. 
• Able to work in a team, committed and dedicated to work.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizen.

LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION

All candidates must have obtained:

• Credits (at least C) for Bahasa Malaysia and English (including oral examination) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government and,
• At least Band 3 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

Note : Shortlisted applicants who are currently employees of the Malaysian Government or Statutory Bodies in Malaysia will be required to submit the hard copy of applications through the respective Heads of Department together with the confidential report and up to date service record.
