Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • Have a master’s degree in clinical psychology.

  • Have experience conducting psychological assessments and interventions for clients with mental disorders.

  • Registered under the Malaysian Allied Professions Council (for Malaysians).

  • Registered under the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology.

  • Have 4 years of experience in attending clients and/or supervising interns.

  • Experienced conducting psychological assessment and intervention.

  • A Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.

  • Flexibility, resilience, and willingness to work long hours.

  • Ability to inspire students with your passion.
  • Proficiency in English and Malay

Note: Starting salary of RM2,078 to RM9,544.00 depending on work experience.

    LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION

     
    All candidates must have obtained: 

    1. Credit (at least C) for Bahasa Malaysia and English (including oral examination in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government; AND
    2. At least Band 3 and above in Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

    Responsibilities


    Clinical Tasks:
    • Conduct psychological assessments for mental, emotional, and behavioral issues.
    • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans (e.g., CBT, Mindfulness).
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families for comprehensive care.
    • Maintain ethical practices, confidentiality, and accurate clinical records.
    Supervision Tasks:
    • Supervise and mentor psychology trainees and interns.
    • Guide newly appointed clinical psychology officers.
    Psycho-Education Tasks:
    • Teach clinical psychology students and conduct mental health workshops.
    • Participate in community outreach programs.
    Administrative Tasks:
    • Manage client files and session schedules.
    • Coordinate the clinic's psychological services.
