Requirements

• Bachelor Degree with honours in Science recognised by the Government from any local institutions of higher learning or equivalent qualification; OR
• Bachelor Degree in Agriculture or Fisheries recognised by the Government from any local institutions of higher learning or equivalent qualification; OR
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering recognised by the Government from any  local institutions of higher learning or equivalent qualification
• Able to converse and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Have high level of motivation, self-discipline, pleasant personality and good interpersonal skill
• Able to work in a team, multitask, flexible, committed and dedicated to work
• Open minded and positive attitude
• Possess high degree of integrity
• Applicants should be a Malaysian citizen.

LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION

All candidates must have obtained Credits in Bahasa Malaysia and English (including oral examination) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for research project management and administration.
• Performs the research activities based on the stated KPI.
• Writing research publications.
• Promote and perform the consultation related to research projects and laboratory instruments.
• Writing/ editing draft research proposal and reports.
• Responsible in preparing budget for PLANETIIUM Laboratory's expenses, maintenance and laboratory accreditation.
• Securing research grant from local and international sources.
• Creating high-quality, diverse research outputs for a variety of audiences, including analysis, report writing and presentations as needed.
• Translating the research findings for community empowerment.
