Requirements

• Diploma in Science/ Health Sciences/ OSH/ Environmental Science/ Industrial Hygiene or in relevant OSHE field recognised by the Government, from any local institutions of higher learning or equivalent qualification.
• A competency certificate of an OSH Officer/ Hygiene Technician 1 or 2/CHRA/ IAQA/ OSH Coordinator is an added value for a candidate.
• Have knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations, standards and risk assessment methodologies.
• Have interest, experience and passion in conducting scientific research, preferably related to workplace safety and health.
• Have a high level of motivation, disciplined and pleasant personality with strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate scientific data.
• Posses a high degree of integrity.
• Able to converse and write Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to work in a team, committed and dedicated to work.
  
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to assist the Science Officer in the following functions:
• Receive, record, arrange and maintain processes for all laboratory equipment.
• Manage the basic service, repair and maintenance duties to all laboratory equipment.
• Applicants should be a Malaysian citizen.
  

Note: Starting salary of RM1,505.00 to RM5,696.00 depending on work experience. 
 

LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION

All candidates must have obtained Credits (at least C) for Bahasa Malaysia and English (including oral examination) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
