Requirements

​Department of Arabic Language and Literature

·         Malaysian or International.

·         Area specialisation: Syntax, Morphology and Applied Linguistics.

·         Possess a PhD in Linguistics, Language Studies / Arabic Language Studies  from universities recognised by the​ ​Malaysian government.

·         Good proficiency  in English (spoken and written). Proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written) is an advantage.

·         Produced sufficient number of publications.
·         Relevant working experience is an advantage.

 

 

LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION

Candidate must have obtained :-

1.      Credits in Bahasa Malaysia and English Language (including oral examination) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.

2.      IELTS Band 6 / MUET Band 4. Candidate without any of these qualification will be required to sit for the IIUM English Language Proficiency Test.
 

Note: Starting salary of RM5,855.00 to RM12,445.00 depending on work experience.
