Requirements

• Engineering Certificate recognised by the Government from a local higher education institution or a recognised equivalent qualification.
• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics) recognised by the Government from a local higher education institution or a recognised equivalent qualification.
• Having Knowledge and familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2015, and ISO 14001:2015 will be advantages.
• Capable of operating and managing related scientific equipment, machinery and or experiment in support of teaching, learning and research activities.
• Able to converse and write in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office & Electronic-Mail Functions. (Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms Powerpoint, Gmail and Microsoft Live).
• Have high level of motivation, self-discipline and pleasant personality. 
• Able to work in a team, multitask, flexible, committed and dedicated to work.
• Open minded and positive attitude.
• Able to work in a team and able to work independently with minimum supervision. 
• Having a minimum 8 - 10 years of experiences in a related field.

Note: Starting salary of RM 1,549.00 to RM 5,701.00 depending on work experience. 

LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION

 

All candidates must have obtained Credits (at least C) for Bahasa Malaysia and English (including oral examination) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support and assistance to enhance the educational experience for students.
• Responsible for assisting laboratory operation for practical classes according to program and final year students.
• Collaborates with academic department to maintain, operate and upgrade audiovisual and technical equipment, multimedia system and educational technology.
• Familiar with the set of experiments; 

• Electrical Field and Potential in Plate Capacitor
• Wheatstone Bridge
• RLC Circuit
• Rectifier Circuit
• Charging Curve Capacitor
• Magnetic Induction
• Induction Selenoids 
• Determination of the Diffraction intensity at Slit and Double Slit System

• To ensure all related materials, equipment and instruments at the laboratory (Teaching and Learning or Research) are always available and ready, intact, and functional. 
• Ensure quality practice is observed and implemented ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45011:2015 and other standard or requirements at laboratory.
