Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Hons), specialisation in Library Science is a must and recognised by the Government from any local institution of higher learning or equivalent; OR
• Candidates who have a Masters degree in Library and Information Science is preferred and language qualification in the Arabic language is an added bonus.
  
• Able to converse and write well in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Pleasant personality, good ethics (adab) and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Mature, proactive and dynamic individual with the ability to adapt to changes and must be able to work under pressure.
• Creative, versatile, meticulous and have an eye for details.
• Open-minded, positive attitude and self-motivated.
• A team player who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• The applicant should be a Malaysian citizen.

Note: Starting salary of RM2,418.00 to RM9,607.00 depending on work experience.  

 
LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION

All candidates must have obtained Credit (at least C) for Bahasa Malaysia and English (including oral examination) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government and acquire at least Band 3 and above in Malaysia University English Test (MUET).
