Requirements

• Candidates must possess  a Doctorate degree (PhD) in Islamic Thought and Civilisation or relevant fields from University recognised by the  Government

• Candidate with Bachelor Degree in Islamic Thought and Civilisation or relevant fields is preferred

• Candidate MUST also own:

a)      High competency in English

b)      Good experience in educational filed

• We are looking for committed and highly responsible candidate

• Vast experience and strong background in research and publication

• Familiar with multi and inter-disciplinary research especially in Islam, gender and family studies

• Technology savvy and willing to learn new teaching methods and strategies

 Courses to be taught:

•          Research Methodology
•          Islamisation and Integration
•          Islamic Thought and Civilisation
•          Islamic Civilisation from Western Perspective
•          Islam in Malay History and Culture
•          Islam and Gender Equity
•          Peace and Security: Violent Extremism, Terrorism and Resilience
•          Science, Technology and Environment in Islamic Civilisation
•          Islamic Thought and Social, Political and Economic Institutions in Modern Muslim Societies
•           Other courses related to Islamic Thought and Civilisation

LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION

All candidates must have obtained: -

•  Credits in Bahasa Malaysia and English Language (including oral examination) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level OR equivalent qualification   recognised by the Government (for Malaysian citizens);

•  Well versed in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
